Christine (Miller) Overbay

Christine Miller Overbay, 80, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Morristown.  She was saved at an early age at Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN, and was a current member of Adriel Baptist Church in Bean Station, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Overbay; Father, Carl J. Miller; mother, Bernice (Kenneth) Reynolds; brother, Rev. Gerald C. Miller; and Sister, Doris Dumers.  

Survivors include her daughter, Robin (Larry) Johnson and son, Rodney Joe (Nicole) Overbay of Bean Station; sister Evelyn (Guy) Hayes of Morristown; sisters-in-law, Betty Jean McGinnis of Bean Station and Ida Miller of Morristown; Brother-in-law Gary Dumers of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Kayla (Robbie) Rickard of Bean Station, Joe Bob (Ashley) Johnson of Jonesborough; and special life-long friend, Ruby Turner of Rogersville; as well many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.  

A graveside service will be held 3 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Noeton Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating.  Everyone in attendance is requested to wear face masks and observe social distancing. 

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Life Care Center of Morristown for their compassionate care given to Christine during her stay.
