Cindy Dawn Walker

Cindy Dawn Walker, age 57, of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, John “Bud” Walker; grandparents; many aunts and uncles; and three cousins. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ellen (Fox) Walker, and sister, Kelly Bea Walker.

After graduating from East High School, Cindy obtained her associate’s degree from Walters State Community College. Cindy lived in Knoxville, TN for many years, where she worked at Pop Weasel Emporium. She also worked at Westgate Resort as a closing officer. Cindy had a pet sitting business, which she especially loved.

Cindy was an extremely loyal and loving daughter, sister, and friend. She was a compassionate animal lover, and to all who knew and loved her, Cindy was a true friend.

Cindy’s body will lie in repose from 9AM to 1PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a graveside service on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:00PM, with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
