Clarence Brice Gibson

Clarence “Cotton” Gibson, 89, of Morristown went to be with the Lord Monday, May 20, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Pearl Gibson and his son, Clarence, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Rodney Ricketts; granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Ricketts; stepdaughters, Jean Cameron and Sherry Snapp; step grandchildren, Rebecca Rigsby, Amanda Gentry, Rob Gentry, and Malcolm Snapp; several step great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.  Two very special friends who would do anything in the world for him, Hoot Gibson and Tina Gulley.  He is also survived by his very best friend, his dog, Jack.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Bean Station Baptist Temple, 361 Crossroad Drive; Bean Station, TN  37708.  Funeral services will follow with Reverend Rodney Ricketts officiating. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 23, 2024, in St. Paul Cemetery.
