Clifford Oscar Ballard

Clifford Oscar Ballard, 84, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 28, 2023.  He was a devout Christian for many years and will be missed by all who knew him.  Clifford was honored to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly Pentecostal Church. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin Ballard and Ester Fry Ballard; brother,  Wayne Ballard; and sisters, Mildred Tenacha and Pearlie Strange. 

He is survived by his son, Donnie Ballard; brother, Charles Ballard; sister, Ruby Fain Ballard; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

A special thank you to UT Hospice and the Life Care Center of Morristown for Clifford’s care. 

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 2 PM, with Rev. Brian Southerland officiating.  Private interment will be held in Bent Creek Cemetery, Whitesburg, TN.
