Clyde “Eddie” Edward Witt, 81, of Morristown, passed away January 7, 2025. He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Eddie was an Eagle Scout Troop 94, a Mason, and member of Kerbela Shriners. He retired after 27 years of service with Roadway.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gladys Witt and daughter, Pam (Steve) Carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jackie Witt; son, James (Petie) Witt; stepdaughters, Tonya and Tisha Gulley; grandchildren, Stephen (Emily) Carpenter, Sarah Carpenter, Cody Witt, and Jared (McKayla) Witt; step grandchildren, Zach, Bradley, and Jacob Miser, Madison and Lilly Gulley; and, six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Kerbela Temple (Knoxville) for the Shriners Hospital for Children.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM, on Monday, January 13, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM, with Rev. Tom Severt officiating.
