Cora Mae Cullip

CULLIP, CORA MAE, 83, was welcomed to Heaven and took the hand of Jesus on Thursday, November 13, 2025.  Cora Mae accepted Jesus at a young age and was a faithful member of Russellville United Methodist Church.  She began her career at McCrory’s Five and Dime and spent 41 years of her career at Jefferson Federal Savings & Loan where she served as Vice President overseeing the accounting department.  Cora Mae was an avid baseball fan and loved watching the Atlanta Braves.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.H. and Elizabeth Cullip; brothers, Roy, Gene and John Cullip.

Cora Mae is survived by her nephews, Eugene (Carla Steadman) Cullip and Marc (Megan) Cullip; niece, Robin Patton; great nephews, Samuel and Daniel Cullip.  Cora Mae was blessed with a host of friends that were like family including her Jefferson Federal girls.

The family would like to extend appreciation for the care provided by Terra Bella staff and Gentiva Hospice.

Services will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home with receiving of friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and service to follow.  Burial will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Liberty Hill Cemetery at 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Russellville United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
