David Troy Webb

David Troy Webb, 72, of Russellville, formerly of Morristown, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare.  David gave his heart to Jesus at an early age, he loved the Lord dearly and was a member of New Hope Gospel Church.  He worked in the furniture industry for many years and retired from Young’s Mfg. in Whitesburg.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Beatrice Webb; sister, Betty Dotson, and brother J C Webb.

David is survived by his companion, Becky Haun and “special daughter” Sophie Rose of Russellville; brothers, Edward Webb and Sherry of Rutledge, Roger Webb and Tracey of Russellville; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a host of friends who felt blessed to know what a wonderful person and friend he was.

Due to COVID-19, friends and family may call at their convenience from 1:00 – 3:30pm Sunday, June 28, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, social distancing should be practiced, and facial coverings are required.  Graveside services will be held 11:00am Monday, June 29, 2020 in Cedar Grove Church Cemetery in Russellville with Reverend Lee Ervin officiating.
