Dennis "Mark" Scott

Dennis “Mark” Scott, 62, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis K. Scott; grandparents, Jessee “Delly” Scott and Lena Bell Scott Lee and Mattie Jane and Raymond Haun.

Mark is survived by his wife of  31 years, Mary Scott; mother, Sue H. Scott; sister, Denise (Bill) Bush, and their children, Katie Bush and Emmalee Bush; great nephew Easton Scott Blalock,  as well as several other family members.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 1:00 pm with Reverends Scott Helton and Danny Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in Creech’s Chapel Cemetery  in Whitesburg, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, P O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116 or a charity of one’s choice.
