Dolores Ann (Holcomb) Short

Dolores Ann Short, 83, of Morristown, went peacefully to be with her Lord Saturday morning, April 6, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was a faithful member of Russellville Baptist Church and served as organist for many years. Dolores will be remembered as a loving mother, “Gran” and “Tattoo” by all her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Edward Short, Jr.; parents, Earnest and Lillie Holcomb; and sister, Dorothy Holcomb.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws, Clyde “Snoopy” and Lori Short, III and Earnest “Punk” and Vicki Short; grandsons, Rhyder, Memphis and Shane Short; grand-daughter, Kayla (Brandon) Traschel; and great-grand-daughters, Kaydon and Kendall Traschel. 

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Hamblen Memory Gardens with Rev. Dannie Bell officiating.
