Donnie Reese Hill

Donnie Reese Hill, age 68, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Morristown,  TN on August 26, 1957, and passed away on his 68th birthday on August 26, 2025, at home, surrounded by his wife and children.  He is preceded in death by his mother Grace Murr and stepfather Rusty Murr; father, Donald Hill, and  granddaughter, Kenadee Hill-Wilburn and in-laws, Ed and Pearl Helbert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Vickie Sue Hill; daughter, Laina Hill; sons,  Adam Reese Hill and Donnie Lee Hill; grandchildren, MaceLynn Hill-Wilburn, Braxton Noe, Noella Shelton Hill, and Marissa Waldrop; sisters, Carolyn (Jerry) Kite, Treasa (Gary) McCurry, Kay (George) Spadafino, Regina (Richard) McMahan; several nieces, nephews, great-family members, and close friends.

Donnie  was a wonderful man. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the  funeral home to assist with the funeral costs.  The family is grateful for any and all help during our great loss.  

Family and friends will gather at 1:00 pm on  Friday, August 29, 2025, in Hamblen Memorial Gardens.  Reverend Carroll Jarnigan will officiate the service.  His family will serve as pallbearers.
