Donny "Don" Beecher Ball

Don Beecher Ball, 73, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith.  Don proudly served his country in the United States Army. Over a span of 46 years, Don was the owner/operator of Don’s Chevron which was later Don’s Service Center.  He met many people and developed lifelong friendships which he cherished.   Don was 32ndDegree Mason, member of Masonic Lodge 231, member of the Shriner’s organization, and served as president of the Shriner’s Exotic Car Club. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Zola Ball; brothers, Cotton Ball, and Oscar Ball; sisters, Dorothy Kinsler and Bim Ball.  

Survivors include, his sons, Trevor (Brandy) Ball, Jeff Ball, and daughter, Kasey (Drew) Vance; grandchildren, Chloe Ball, Barrett Sanner, Madison Ball, and Billy Ball; siblings, Arlie Ball and Mary Jane Ball Carter; several other grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with  Dr. Reverend Howard Shipley officiating.   Military honors and graveside services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
