Doris Ann Orrick

Doris Ann (Kilgore) Orrick, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Doris Ann was born on July 6, 1943, in Whitesburg, TN and graduated from Whitesburg High School in 1961, where she was a cheerleader. She would then go on to graduate from Nursing School and receive her LPN license . It was while working as a nurse at Morristown Hamblen Hospital that she met the love of her life, Bobby Kyle Orrick, whom she would marry on September 5, 1965. She was a lifelong member of Catherine Nenney Baptist Church in Whitesburg and a loving daughter, wife, mother, and friend. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Trophine (Day) Kilgore and Father- and Mother-in-Law, Kyle and Agnes (Hileman) Orrick. She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Bobby, daughters Robin (Andy) Jones of Talbott and Rebecca Northern of Whitesburg, three grandchildren, Makenzie Jones and Matthew & David Northern, four great-grandchildren, special cousins Gary Kilgore, Teresa (Kilgore) Pedigo and Carol (Kilgore) Russell, and many other beloved family members and friends. 

The family held a private graveside service to celebrate her life at the Catherine Nenney Baptist Church Cemetery.
