Dorothy Anne (Thompson) Lloyd

Dorothy Anne (Thompson) Lloyd, 88, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, November 29, 2024, at her daughter’s home. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Morristown and former member of Mt. Airy United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Morristown, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Bessie Thompson; brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Vera Thompson; and sister, Mary Nell Gann.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Robyn (Robert) Rutledge and DanNell Cameron (Adone Atkins); grandchildren, Alexa Kate (Chris) Campbell, William Andrew Rutledge, and Landon Cameron; great-granddaughter, Adelynn Campbell; honorary grandson, Ian (Monica) Blaylock; niece, Tracy (Todd) Clapp; nephews, Tony (Jan) Thompson and Tom (Amy) Thompson; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and Dr. Kenneth Allum.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Mt. Airy United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Dannie Bell officiating.
