Dottie B. Kesterson

Dottie Musick Carpenter Kesterson, 78, of Morristown, born, June 21, 1942, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.   She is preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Carpenter and Edward Kesterson and a son, Brad Carpenter.

She is survived by her son, Joe “Joey” (Heather) Carpenter; daughter, Kim Marler; stepson, Cletis (Tammy) Kesterson and stepdaughter, Vickie (Buster) Rines; grandchildren, Jennifer Dale, Karlee Carpenter, Kortnee Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter; great-grandson, Parker Dale; step grandchildren, Kasey Kesterson, Clay (Maggie) Kesterson and Megan Rines, as well as several nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church prior to the service at 7:00 with Reverends Greg Ellison and Roger Porter officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Martha Sunderland Cemetery.
