Doyle “Peanut” Ray Kitts, 67, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Doyle was in business for about 35 years at Low Dollar Tire. He loved helping people and had lots of friends all over Morristown and East Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe George and Eva Rosalee Kitts; brothers, George Kitts, Dale Kitts, David Kitts, and Tony Kitts; and sister-in-law, Mary Kitts.
Doyle is survived by his daughter, Kelly Kitts; grandson, Brayden Rose; brothers, Tommy (Becky) Kitts, Floyd Kitts, Jimmy (MaryAnn) Kitts, and Dennis (Wanda) Kitts; sisters, Mary Cameron and Ruby (David) Sturm; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Peggy Denney; and his little dog, Little One.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 PM, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM, with Rev. Dwayne Hayes and Rev. Joe Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11 AM, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
