Doyle W Lane

Doyle W. Lane, 86, born May 15, 1937, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at his home. He was the oldest son of William Glen and Stella Baker Lane. Doyle is survived by his daughter, Teresa Lane; son, Dennis (Cindy) Lane; sister, Betsy Lane; and brother, John Lane. His remaining family and friends will miss him dearly, especially his dear friend Rusty Brunson.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Doyle owned a successful electrical contracting business and worked in the electrical business his entire career. He loved hunting in various places around the country. For many years, he enjoyed spending time at his Clinch River house.

The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. in Bethesda Cemetery.
