Dwight R. Manis

Dwight R. Manis, 76, of Morristown, went to be with the lord Wednesday June 23, 2021, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Dwight was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from BASF after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Pauline Manis; brothers, Glenn Manis; sisters, Alice Jones, Eunice Gilliam, and Janice Manis.

He leaves his son, Greg Manis; special brother, Dan Manis; sisters, Gertrude Hurd, Myra Brooks, and Mildred Sizemore; special brother-in-law Wayman Gilliam; and special friend, Joyce Livesay as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The Family will receive friends Saturday June 26, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Doug Gibson officiating. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Monday June 28, 2021, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
