Edward Jerome ("Cowboy") Dean

Edward Jerome “Cowboy” Dean 83, went to meet his heavenly Father Tuesday, November 12, 2019.  He was saved at Russellville Baptist Church at a young age.  He graduated from Morristown East High School in 1954.  Ed retired from Pic N Pay Shoe Company as District Manager, after 38 years of service.  He was a 50-year Mason, member of Kyle Lodge #422 F&A.M in Whitesburg, as well as a member of the Kerbela Shriners.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Wanda Dean.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Noe Dean; daughter, Angela (Todd) Cureton; grandchild, William Edward Cureton; brothers, Joe (Jane) Dean; Pat Dean; Jay (Faye) Dean; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to Masonic Rites and funeral service at 7 PM with Reverends Kenny Cole and Richard Snowden officiating.  Entombment services are planned for 11:00 AM Friday, November 15 in the Hamblen Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
