Obituary
Elbert “Buster” Roach, age 85, of Morristown, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was saved at a very young age! Buster was preceded in death by his beloved wife Argeline Roach; mother Maybelle Roach; brother Bud Roach; daughter-in-law Mary Roach; granddaughter Sissy Gibson; and sons-in-law Ronnie Gibson and Eddie Shelton.
He is survived by his children Debra Gibson, Sue (Bill) Maples, Shirley Shelton, and Gene Roach, all of Morristown; grandchildren Ronnie Gibson Jr., Christy Asbury, Brad Shelton, Tasha Daughtery, and Nick Roach of Morristown, Jessica Holt of Parrottsville, April Seals and Jason Delph of Sneedville; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter; 2 sisters Bonnie Hooker and Irene Witt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to give thanks to the Life Care Center of Morristown for their care.
The family will have a graveside service 3 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Hamblen Memory Gardens, with Rev. Alex Eldridge officiating.
