Elizabeth Ann Hyde

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Hyde, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Liz was a charter member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. She retired from Berkline after several years of employment. Liz also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hyde; parents, Harvey and Myrtle Davis; son, Paul Hyde, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Hyde; brothers, Billy and Jerome Davis; and sister, Mary McCarroll.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Hyde; daughter, Terri Hodgson; brother, Marshall Davis; sister, Patricia Combs; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Regency Retirement Village.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Buffalo Trial Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 9–10 AM, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 10 AM, with Dr. Keith Mowery officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
