Elizabeth Louise (Williams) Wilson

Elizabeth Louise Wilson, known as Louise or Lou by those close to her, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, September 6, 2024, surrounded by family.

Louise was a banker for 40 years. She started her career in banking at Hamilton Bank. She then went on to spend many years at Bank of Commerce and retired from Jefferson Federal in 2014.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family was her whole world. She had a kind heart and helped many people in need through the years. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church and loved her savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jackie Wilson; parents, James and Elizabeth “Lib” Williams; brother, Jimmy Williams; and sister, Barbara Williams.

She is survived by her son, Shane (Misty) Wilson; daughter, Linsey (John) Foland; grandchildren, Mason (Brittany) Wilson, Raean Wilson, John Li Foland, and Libby Foland; and sister, Phyllis Potter. Other survivors include Joe Gass, Phyllis and Johnny Ricker, Pam Blakely, Mary Wilson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 12, 2024, at First Christian Church. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 13, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
