Our Mom, Emma Jewel Fullington Smith, passed away Friday morning, September 6, 2024, and joined her Savior and Lord in Heaven. She was a wonderful mother and granny and will be truly missed. It was our privilege to care for her as she made many sacrifices for us. Preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Edward Smith; parents, William and Susie Fullington, and six brothers and five sisters.
Jewel is survived by her children, Sheila (Jeff) Gregg, and Terry (Lillie) Smith; granddaughter, Randi (Dan) Fast; adopted grandson Jared (Forrest) Johnson; step grandchildren, Jason Sinard and Erin Tyler; four great grandchildren, Haven, Arden, Owen, and Lauren Fast; one step-great granddaughter, Brixton Tyler.
She loved her church and was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church in White Pine.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Jefferson Family Physicians, the boys in the lab, Joe and Shawn; and Smoky Mountain Hospice, Emily, Patrick, Billy, and Lois.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm with Reverends Charlie Harkleroad and Don Holt officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in Witt Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Leadvale Baptist Church, 874 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, Tn. 37890.
