Ernest Eugene "Gene" Cullip

Ernest Eugene  “Gene” Cullip, 84, of Morristown, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, after a brief illness.  Gene was well known for his knowledge and expertise in residential construction.  Many homes in the area were built by Gene and his son.  He loved being on his tractor on the family farm and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Allene Hileman Cullip; parents, E.H. and Elizabeth Cullip; brothers, Roy and John Cullip.

Gene is survived by his son, Eugene (Carla Steadman) Cullip; grandsons, Samuel Eugene and Daniel Kirk Cullip; sister, Cora Cullip; niece and nephew, Robin Patterson and Marc Cullip.

Respecting Gene’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

The family requests no flowers but suggest making a donation in Gene’s memory to a charity of choice or one of our many United Way agencies in Morristown.
