Flora Reed Obituary

Flora Reed, 84, passed away early Thursday morning, September 2, 2021 at Orchard View Rehabilitation Center in Kinsport. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.K. and Zolina Glasscock McMahan; children, Everette Reed, Robert Reed, Pat Ingram, Susie Dotson, Roy Reed, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dinky Reed (Larry) Overholt, Cheryl “Patty Cake” Poe Marquez, Linda (Ray) Owens, and Bernice Bewley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Flora enjoyed her life with her loving dog, Honey Girl.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Orchard View Rehabilitation Center of Kingsport, Avalon Hospice nurse Hope Cox and many other caregivers in her life.

Graveside services are planned for 3:00 pm Saturday, September 4, at Philippi Babtist Church Cemetery in Mosheim, TN with Pastor Chris Hazlewood officiating.
