Florence Dalton

Florence A. Dalton, 81,  of Russellville, born May 1, 1941, passed away at the Serenity House in Morristown on June 17, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Florence retired from Ingles after 30 years of service.

Her favorite hobbies were enjoying time spent with her grandkids whom she adored.  She loved to pass the time working puzzle books.  

Florence leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, David (Carla) Dalton and Chad (Elizabeth) Dalton; grandchildren, Corey, Grayson, Tucker, Tinely, Chase, Ryan and special friend, Faye.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Friends of Hospice Serenity House.  Words cannot express the gratitude for the amazing care and compassion shown not only to Florence but to her family as well.  Florence wished to be remembered as a hard-working, loving mother and grandmother and a respected friend.  Please continue to pray for our family as we grieve our greatest loss.

To honor their mother’s final wishes, there will be no formal services.  Graveside services are planned for 10:00 am  Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend Michah Davis officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Serenity House; 421 N. High Street; Morristown, TN 37814.
