Frank L. Hunt

Frank L. Hunt, 89, went to be with the Lord peacefully Sunday February 28, 2021 with his loving wife by his side.  He was a member of Tellico Plains Methodist Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church for 40 years.  He worked at Lear Seating from 1969 until his retirement in 1995.  He served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.  He loved his entire family and his friends and always provided for them like they were his children.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Hunt; one sister and two brothers, Ruth, James and Terrell.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy L. Hunt; special family Pam (Gunter) Tillmann, John H. Watson, Jason R. (Lisa) Watson, Amy (Matt) Hughes, Holton Goan, Nevaeh, Juliann and Emberly Hughes as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church prior to the funeral service at 7:00 with Don Weiss and Reverend Mike Cutshaw officiating.  Military graveside services are planned for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in New Providence Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund; 425 Wilder Street; Morristown, Tn.  37813.

For all persons in attendance, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
