Gary "Cotton" Alan Crittenden

Gary “Cotton” Alan Crittenden, 71, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 8, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Crittenden; parents, Walter and Linnie Dell Crittenden; sisters, Kathleen Spurgeon and Reba Nell Westmoreland; brothers, Junior Crittenden and Jim Crittenden; great-grandchildren, Jace Michael Musick and Ambria Mullins.

Cotton is survived by his daughters, Tina Drinnon and April Johnson; son, Alan Crittenden; grandchildren, Amber Drinnon, Chris Johnson, Josh Drinnon, Tierra Johnson, Chelsey Johnson, and Kyndra Johnson; great-grandchildren, Ian Drinnon, Josiah Johnson, and Jayden Johnson; brothers, Bobby Joe (Linda) Crittenden and Tubby (Joann) Crittenden; sister-in-law, Vatris Crittenden; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Reverend Stanley Carpenter officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Creech’s Chapel Cemetery.
