Geneva Jane Hayes, 98, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 21, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by family. She was a charter member of First Corinthians Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. She was a precious wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 54 years, Lee Hayes; parents, Sarah Jane and Bill Kinsler; son, Danny Hayes; sisters, Ora Kinsler, Elizabeth Ford, Pearl Sizemore, Kate Hancock, Bobby Campbell, May Russell; brothers, Elbert Kinsler, Luke Kinsler, Tyler Kinsler, George Kinsler, 3 infant siblings; and granddaughter, Tabitha Webb.
She was survived by her sons, Tommy Hayes, Sammy (Sandi) Hayes, Larry (Dinah) Hayes; grandchildren, Tina Akard, Scott (Trista) Hayes, Jonathan Hayes, Kim (Ryan) Himmel, Aaron (Cassy) Hayes; great grandchildren, James Lakins, Adam Akard, Jr., Morgan Hayes, Kaylee Hayes, Raelee Lakins, Eastyn Parker, Jaxon Hayes, Jase Walker, John Reed, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
The family would especially like to thank Diane Snyder and the nurses and staff of The Heritage Center.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm with Rev. Randy Brooks officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at Bethesda Cemetery.
