George Ellis Ford

George E. Ford, 80, of Morristown, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020.  He joined Northside Baptist Church on December 30, 2010.  He enjoyed fishing, farming and he loved God.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Otha Wallen Ford; parents, Joe and Lizzie Ford; brothers, J.B. and James Ford; sisters, Linda Watts and Bobbie Hartsell. 

He is survived by his daughter, Betty (Mike) Sanford; granddaughters, Samantha (Larry) Bridges, Matisha Sanford, Latosha (Jonathan) Hicks; great-grandchildren, Marie and Larry Bridges and Wyatt Sanford; sisters, Betty Southerland, Alice (Bobby) Helton; brother, Richard (Brenda) Ford, all of Morristown; several nieces and nephews.  The body will lie in state from 9:00am - 5:00 pm at Allen Funeral Home Friday, March 20, 2020.

Graveside services are planned for 3:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
