Gerry Wayne Ramsey

Gerry Wayne Ramsey, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He retired as an upholster in the furniture industry after many years of service.

He is preceded in death by his longtime wife, Mary J. Ramsey; parents, Austin and Ressie Ramsey; and brother, Ralph Ramsey.

Gerry is survived by his children, Candra (Eric) Hammer and Johnny (Alison) Ramsey; grandchildren, Caleb and Logan Hammer, and Helena and Kelsie Ramsey; sister, Phyllis Hatfield; as well as many other extended family members.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hancock Manor and Caris Hospice.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Bunch officiating.
