Gladys Ruth Nester

Gladys Ruth Crigger Nester passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8th, surrounded by her daughter and nieces. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Woodcraft after 35 years of service.  Preceding her in death are her parents Cornelia and Jake Crigger; sister, Charlotte Kinsler and brother, Jake(JW) Crigger. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenis and Scott Cassell, granddaughter, Brielle Cassell, best friend and beloved dog Faith, several nieces and one nephew, Jennifer Greene, Mickey Brabson, Missy Kidwell, Angela Carson, and Byron Crigger; sister-in-law, Glenda Crigger, several great nieces and nephews;as well as numerous friends and church family.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Highland Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7 PM with Reverend Terry Bunch officiating.  Graveside services and interment will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
