Gordon Lamuel Wheeler

Gordon Lamuel Wheeler, 71, of Morristown passed away Tuesday July 13, 2021 at Friends of Hospice Serenity House. He was retired from the State Department of Transportation after forty-four years of service. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Walter and Hazel Mae Wheeler.

He is survived by special friends, Kenneth and Deb Goodson, fiancée~, Shirley McReynolds, and friends at the Waffle House and Dale’s Diner.

Gordon’s friends would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and the nurses at Serenity House for their exceptional care during his illness.

The receiving of friends will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home from 5 until 7 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Marks officiating.
