Gwendolyn E. (Susong) Williford

Gwendolyn E. Williford, 92, passed away at her home Wednesday July 10, 2019.  She was a member of Kingswood Baptist Church and also attended Fairview Bible Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry D. and Nannie Susong; brothers, H.D. Jr., Nicholas (Bud), and Gene Susong; husbands, Guy Winstead and Arlie R. Williford; daughters, Wanda Sue Sizemore and Pat Phillips; sons, Freddy A. Winstead and Marcus Greene.  She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, and her church.

She is survived by her daughters, Irene (Bud) Dukes and Mary Francis Whaley; son, Dan (Sue) Winstead; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Margie Winstead; son-in-law, Eddie Sizemore.

Funeral services are planned for 3:00 pm Friday, July 12, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverends Jim Emery and Bobby Helton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Catherine Nenney Cemetery.
