Helen Minnie Carpenter

Helen Carpenter, 82, passed on to her eternal home early Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at Greenville Community Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Jones; sisters, Faye Winstead, Bertha Bohanan, Lenora Enloe, Priscilla Harbin; and brothers, Paul Jones and Raymond Jones.

Helen is survived by her husband, Steven Carpenter; brother, Don (Shirley) Jones; sister-in-law, Betty Jones; her two beloved dogs, Mickey and Keebler; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Helen had a beautiful singing voice and played guitar; her favorite song was Beulah Land. She loved watching the flowers bloom each spring.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2pm, at Courtney Cemetery (192 Morrisett Chapel Road, Whitesburg, TN 37891), with Rev. Truman Coffey and David “Chip” Winstead officiating.
