Helen Marie (Price) Short, Lawson

Helen Marie Price Short Lawson, 83, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her home in Bean Station.  She was a member of Bean Station Church of God and retired from American Enka/BASF.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Livy Price; husbands, Ray Short, Ray Lawson and grandson Marty Ray Short as well as several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons Martin (Janice) Short and Greg (Tonya) Short; grandchildren, Jason Short, Kristin Short, Tiffany Owen, Misty Wolfenbarger; Matthew Short, Mariah Short; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.    The family would like to extend special thanks to Avalon Hospice for their care and support.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Friday, June 7, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 7:00 with Pastor Jerry Walden officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Riverview Cemetery in Bean Station, TN.
