Hobert Dale Testerman

Dale Testerman, 67, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 16, 2023.  He was a good man who loved his family and friends.  In his earlier days, he enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, trapping, caving and camping.  Dale was an expert marksman, fantastic photographer and an avid reader.  He read the entire Encyclopedia as a child and was honorably discharged from the United States Army with a rank of Sergeant in 1979.  He managed a Sterchi Brothers store, carried mail for USPS and worked for American Appliance.  Dale will be remembered by his family and friends for the adventures they shared.  

He was preceded in death by his parents. Mervin and Mary Lou Testerman; sister, Trecia Walters: brother, Tom Testerman; and brother-in-Law, Paul Hyde, Jr. 

Dale is survived by sisters, Mary Louise (Mark) Grady, and Freda Hyde; brother-in-law, Mike Walters; sister-in-law, Mae Testerman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; special friends, Vic Trobaugh, Rick Hartman, Chuck Cobb and Joe Wright.

The family will receive friends from 9:30AM to 11AM, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11AM, with Rev. Victor Trobaugh officiating.  Interment and military funeral honors will be held 2PM, Wednesday, December 20th, in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN.
