Howell Fox, 80, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord August 9, 2024. Howell was a deacon of Heaven’s View Missionary Baptist Church, and a Master Mason, 35 year member, of Kyle Lodge 422 F & AM. He retired from the US Army as Staff Sergeant. He was a supervisor at Shelby Williams and also retired from MAHLE.
Howell is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rosa Fox; brothers and sisters, Floyd Fox, Jr., Faye “Sissy” Daniels, Roberta Stump, Barbara Jean Withers, Opal Cox, and Carolyn “Nanny” Stump.
Survivors include his wife, of 56 years, Janice Fox; children, Tony Fox, Timmy (Debbie Trent) Fox, Melissa (Jason) King; grandchildren, Marla Fox, T.J. Fox, Hunter Reed, Fisher Ford; special nephew, Tommy Buttry; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Masonic rites and funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Bill Russell and Rev. Ralph Turner officiating. Military honors and graveside services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
