Hubert Andrew Shannon

Hubert Andrew Shannon, born December 7, 1934 (age 89), of Morristown, Tennessee went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday, May 19, 2024.  Hubert retired from General Electric. His passion was his garden and homestead.   Hubert was the oldest living member of Fairfield Baptist Church having attended since a young child.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paralee & William "Willy" Shannon; sister, Marie (Roy) Dalton; and several friends.  

Hubert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Geraldine Shannon; his daughter Renee (Mark) Simmons; granddaughters, Courtney (Zackary) Williams & Madison Simmons; great -granddaughter, Fenway Williams; niece, Regina (David) Countess;  great-nephews, Shannon Collins, Chris (Regina) Jolly, and Bryan (Julie) Countess; loving family members, Kevin Reagan, Linda Cross, Gail, Johnny and  Jona Manning, Amy, Taver, and  Wendy Leedy, Ida Simmons and many friends. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Shannon Cemetery in Morristown, Tennessee with Pastor Scott Helton officiating.
