James Edward Coffey

James Edward Coffey, 72, of Morristown went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 5, 2017.  He was saved at a young age at Seals Branch Baptist Church and attended Friendly View Baptist Church.  He retired from American Enka/BASF after 26 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his son James “Jimmy” Dean Coffey; parents Arthur & Norma Coffey; and brother Ray Dean Coffey.

Survivors include: his devoted wife Faye Coffey; son Tim (Lisa) Coffey; daughter Tina (Chris) Braddock; grandchildren Brandon (Ashlee) Coffey, Jennifer (Travis) Poff, Patrick Coffey, Kaylea Braddock, Mckinley Braddock, and Christopher Braddock; great grandchildren Jaiden and Gavin Poff, and Liam Coffey; brothers Dearl (Patsy) Coffey and Steve (Karin) Coffey; sisters Deanna (Roy) Helton, Sue (Jerry Inman) Collins, and Roseanne (Roger) Strange; as well as several nieces & nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home; funeral Services will follow at 7pm, with Reverend Justin Winstead officiating.  Interment will be 2pm, Sunday July 9, 2017 in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
