Buddy is survived by his sisters Ruth Hubbard of Morristown and Peggy Dawson (Don) of Jefferson City, daughters Pam Kitts (David) of Jefferson City, and Amy Jordan(Chris) of Morristown; sons Jimmy Wampler(Cindy) of Morristown and Robert “Rob” Wampler(Lorraine) of Arrington, TN; his 10 grandchildren, Kim Kimbrough (Jason), Becky Trent (Brian), Libby Housewright (Allen), Matt Kitts (Wendy), Alex Conway (Frankie), Ben Wampler, Jordan Wampler (Laura), Maeson Temple (Johnny), Connor Jordan and Lilabeth Jordan; his eight Great Grandchildren Austin Kimbrough (Taylor), Abi Kimbrough, Ansley and Hudson Housewright, Adi, Audri, Averill and Aspyn Kitts and one Great – Great Grandchild – Easton Kimbrough.

Buddy was a bread salesman for the former Galbreath Bakery and now Flowers Bakery for 38 years, coached little and minor league baseball and Fairview Marguerite Elementary Football. Buddy was a member of the Leadvale Masonic Lodge #390 F.&A.M. for over 50 years. After retiring from Flowers Bakery, Buddy spent many of his days playing golf and on a part time basis he was the maintenance supervisor for Morningside Baptist Church for 20 years where he was also a member for 37 years. Buddy had three loves in his life, his late wife Joy, his children and more importantly his grand, great, and great-great grandchildren. He would sit for hours talking about all of them. Buddy and Joy never missed any play, concert, or ball game in which the children participated. Buddy was a servant leader and made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.
