Jamie Scott Bowlin

Jamie Scott Bowlin 47, left this world and went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 27th, 2021. Scott was known for being a light to others, a kind spirt, and a huge Alabama football fan. He was the best dad you could ask for, a man who loved his sister, valued his parents, and loved both of his nieces dearly. Scott’s love for the Lord was evident and his testimony was touching and nothing short of a miracle. He was a faithful member of Bibleview Baptist Church. 

Scott was proceeded in death by grandparents; Howard (Josie)Long and James (Evelyn) Bowlin. Scott’s surviving family is parents, Jim and Pat Bowlin; son, Shawn Bowlin; sister and brother-in-law, Jimmi (Nick) Winstead; nieces, Lexi Shultz, Danika Winstead; special uncle Rick; aunt, Tonya (Greg) Young; uncles, Ron Bowlin and Howard Long; girlfriend, Samantha Roberts; lifelong friend, Judy Dockery; two friends he called brothers, Jason Jarnigan and Todd Hodges; his beloved dog Max! 

Scott was one of the strongest and best men we knew. He will forever be our hero and Guardian Angel until we meet again. Roll Tide!
