Janice Diane (Jarnigan) Fox

Janice Diane Jarnigan Fox, 79, went to her heavenly home on March 29, 2025.

She was a member of Heaven’s View Missionary Baptist Church.  Janice was a retired beautician and owned Mary’s Beauty Shop.  

Janice was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Howell Fox; parents, Sam and Ollie McDaniel Jarnigan; sister, Flossie Horton; brothers, Merman Dean Jarnigan, Beby James Jarnigan, Curtis “Bud” Jarnigan, Jackie L. Jarnigan, and Willie A. Jarnigan.

She is survived by her children, Tony Fox, Timmy  (Debbie Trent) Fox, Melissa (Jason) King; grandchildren, Marla Fox, T.J. Fox, Hunter Reed, Fisher Ford; brother, Sammy Jarnigan; sisters, Martilla “Tuner” McAmis, Betty Jo White, Benny Simmons, Blanche Russell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, March 31, 2025 , in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Ralph Turner officiating.  Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
