Janice L. Hawk

Janice L. Hawk, 84, of Morristown, went to be with Jesus Sunday, January 18, 2026. 

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Junior” Hawk; and her parents, Jay L. and Myrle Rader Gregg.  

She is survived by her three children, Lecia (Thomas) Maloney; Floyd “Buddy” (Loretta) Hawk; and Sharon (Ruddy) Ferrell; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Derrick) Webb, Daniel (Katy) Coursey, Andrew (Sasha Ellison) Coursey, Rosa Hawk, and Ryan Hawk; seven great-grandchildren, Journee, Bryce, Chloe, Ronin, Athena, Raiden, and Ares; two sisters, Charlotte (Horace) Davis and Marilyn Davis (Joe Massey). 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all Caris Hospice personnel, all her caregivers; and a special thank you to her dear friend, Tonya Bryant, and Greg Kerns (her adopted grandson).

The family will receive from, 5-7 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7 PM, with Reverend Tyler Bryant officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, January 23, 2026, in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Coursey, Ryan Hawk, Ruddy Ferrell, Derrick Webb, Jerry Trent, and Greg Kerns.
