Jeff Elkins, 62, went to be with Jesus, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at his home in Morristown. He was a faithful member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Russellville Baptist Church, and was a loyal employee of Coca-Cola for 39 years. Jeff was a member of Gideons International, a Vol For Life, an avid L.A. Dodgers fan, and was a Morristown Parks and Recreation Hall of Fame inductee. He was a loving husband, father, and Pops.
Preceded by parents, Arnold “Bud” and Georgie Elkins.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sharon Elkins; sons, Jordan (Katy) Elkins and Jacob (Lexi) Elkins; grandchildren, Griffin and Marshall Elkins; sister, Tammy (Bill) Hodges; mother-in-law, Virginia Lee; sister-in-law, Kim King; aunts, Carolyn (Wade) Carroll and Ann Kinsler; uncle, Lawrence McCollough; as well as several special friends and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 6:30p.m., Friday, September 1, 2023, at Russellville Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. with Reverend Gene Nelson and Josh Dawson officiating. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 2nd, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
