Jerry (Jer Bear) Lynn Nunn

Jerry “Jer Bear” Lynn Nunn, 65, of Talbott, TN, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2024. Jerry was a fun-loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend who was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a hard-working, Christian man who was an active member of Circle C Cowboy Church, devoting his time and energy to the Lord. He loved his family and the Lord with all his heart. He was also the king of “dad jokes” and loved making everyone around him laugh and smile.

Jerry was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1958 to the late Charles and Wynona Nunn. He attended Roosevelt High School in St. Louis and went on to work in many different crafts throughout his life. He worked in a variety of fields ranging from automotive to woodworking/construction and everything in between. You could also say that he was a professional on the grill as well. Jerry loved to cook for his family and friends and was a master when it came to steaks. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wynona Nunn; brother, Robbie Nunn; and sister, Debbie Scott.

Jerry is survived by his soulmate and wife of 26 years, Kim Quigley Nunn; children, Michelle Nunn of St. Louis, MO, Jerry Nunn, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Charles (Devin) Nunn of Carlyle, IL, Richard (Kate) Nunn of Eau Claire, MI, and Shawn (Danielle) Quigley of Dandridge, TN; 12 grandchildren, Kaylee, Maddie, Kayleigh, Olivyah, Christian, Laci, Raylynn, Wyatt, Raymond, Tyler, Colton and Kinsley; brother, Charles Nunn I; his beloved dog, Sammy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10AM on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Circle C Cowboy Church of Morristown, with Paster Kent Hightower officiating.
