Jessie Fay (Edwards) Davis

Jessie Fay Edwards Davis, 92, passed into the arms of our Savior on August 4, 2020.  Jessie was born May 14, 1928 to Houston and Leona Edwards.  Jessie was preceded in death by husband Wayland Davis; son, Jimmy Davis; parents, Houston and Leona Edwards; brothers, Edgar, Earl, Gale, Milum and Cline Edwards; sisters, Fannie Pearson and Edna Helton; father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Ester Davis.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Ann Davis; Tom (Martha) Davis; Homer (Kristi) Davis; Judy (Doyal) Bibbins; grandchildren, Pascha (Adam) Moles, Matthew (Jesse) Burkhalter and Bella Davis; great-grandchildren Saylour, Gabby and Southern Perry; brother, Neal Edwards; sisters, Nona Odom and Bertha Lamb. 

The family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm Friday, August 7, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church in Treadway prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverends  Lance Dalton and Matthew Hurley officiating.  Interment will follow in Pearson Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Derek Cooze, Amedisys Home Health in Sneedville and Amedisys Hospice in Morristown (especially Abby) for the wonderful care given to our beloved mother.
