John James "Bud" Lee

John “Bud” Lee, 82, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 16, 2021, with his loving wife by his side.  He was a member of Morrisett’s Chapel Baptist Church.  Bud was a lifelong mechanic.

He is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, Joyce; son Tom (Cindy); stepdaughter Chandra; stepson Floyd “Denny”; grandchildren Nakesha, Anthony, Danielle, Kelsie, Christy, Johnathon, Brandon, Adam, and Corie; sister Linda Branch; brother Danny; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Bud was preceded in death by son Tony; parents Reevie Lee and Martha Branch; and siblings Billy Lee and Jessie Lee.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday, April 19, 2021 in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 7 pm, with Rev.’s Rex Russell and Robert Mallory officiating.  Interment will be 11 am Tuesday in Courtney Cemetery in Whitesburg.  Per CDC guidelines, all in attendance are asked to practice social distancing and wear facial coverings.
