John Rymer Obituary

John Wayne Rymer, 79, of Bean Station, Tn passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 5, 2025, at his home.  He was saved at an early age at Adriel Church; later moved his membership to Emmanuel Baptist Church and attended regular until his health failed.  John Wayne retired from Lear Sie gler after 40 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Wayne Rymer; parents, James Paul and Charlise (Jinks) Rymer; sister, Edna Morgan, and brother, Paul Dale Rymer.

John Wayne is survived by his friend and loving wife of 57 ½ years, (Liz Taylor) Dorothy Lathim Rymer; daughter, Jennifer Winstead and grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Joshua and Jacob Winstead and Jaycie Kesterson; brother, Don Rymer; sister, Charlene Barnard and a host of nieces, nephews and special nephew, Tommy Rymer and his church family that he dearly loved; special neighbors, Carolyn and Wade Carroll, Vernon Coffey and JeanAnn Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00 with Pastor David Jones officiating.  Graveside services and interment will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
