Johnny Edward Lane

Johnny Edward Lane, age 79, of Whitesburg, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Heritage Life Care.  

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita; daughter, Tammy (Will); granddaughters, Lane (David) and Lydia; sister, Betsy Lane; and several nieces and nephews. Johnny served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict.   

Johnny was known throughout the community as a hardworking electrician and farmer who loved  his family with all of his heart.  

The family will receive friends at Allen Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM.  The graveside service will be held 2 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Bethesda Cemetery on what would have been Johnny's 80th birthday.  

Allen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
