Joseph Harrell

Joseph (Joe) Harrell, 84, of Morristown passed away Friday May 29th, 2020.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He later taught at Rutledge High School for 25 years, where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tip and Ella Harrell; siblings, Von Harrell, Samuel Harrell, Alva Harrell, and Dorothy Keck; and granddaughter Nikki Harrell. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Judy Harrell; children, sons Tracy (Tammy) Harrell, Tippy Harrell, and daughter Vonda (Eric) Heidel; sister June (Paul) Murphy; grandchildren, Tyler (Abbie) Harrell, Shauni (Joe) Rich, Madison Heidel, Mckenzie Heidel, Morgan Heidel, Jayden Harrell; great grandchildren, Cooper Joe Harrell and Parker Harrell; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on, Sunday, May 31, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.   Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Monday, June 1, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend Mike Cutshaw officiating.
